Gary Tyler brings a wealth of communication, advertising and event marketing experience to this role. As a strategic marketing and community relations professional, Gary unites businesses, including non-profit organizations, builds strong community relationships and turns networking opportunities into success stories.
Previously, as Publisher of the Richmond Register, he’s most proud of creating and producing the first Local Hero’s Award program, honoring local first responders and other heroes in education and non-profit work. This original event drew 110 guests and established a strong legacy to build upon in the Richmond, KY area.
As a community leader and past Market President & Publisher of Business First, Gary took the newspaper from a legacy print to digital-first news and media leader and strengthened their event offerings from 8 to 14 larger events complemented by 20 smaller events, including timely roundtables, educational forums and the regionally recognized Bourbonomics – many of which are the hallmarks of Business First today.
Gary calls the Kentuckiana area home and is a graduate of Hanover College, Hanover, Indiana. He stays on top of changes in media and communication and recently earned online certificates in ChatGPT, Fundraising Essentials and Bullseye Targeted Training.
In his spare time, Gary consults with Bellarmine University’s Advertising students, plays a little tennis and writes animal stories. His story, Jake’s Miracles, was just published in www.theblackdog.com.
I’m currently the Financial Center Manager for German American Bank in LaGrange with a primary role of Business Development in Oldham County and surrounding areas. I’m currently serving on several boards and chambers through Jefferson and Oldham counties.
My goal is to invest, grow and build relationships where I can continue to leverage my professional experience, inspire collaborative thinking, learn from divergent points of view and expand upon my 20+ years of executive banking, professional business etiquette as well as senior-level management expertise.
I my spare time I enjoy boating on the Ohio River, home improvement projects, cooking and spending time outdoors.
Jeremy “JD” Dodson is the owner and founder of JD Entertainment LLC and Dodson Marketing Group. Jeremy is constantly active in the community through various chambers and non-profit organizations. He is dedicated to the growth of Prospect and the surrounding areas by fostering positive business development and engaging events for businesses and consumers alike. Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Louisville and has also been commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Andy Beshear along with being included in the Oldham Era’s 2021: 20 Under 40 class.
Dr. Marilyn Faulkenburg, Ed.D., SHRM-SCP, is an accomplished educator and professional with a rich background in both academia and business. As an adjunct professor at various esteemed higher education institutions, she imparts her expertise in Human Resources, Management, Leadership, Ethics, and Organizational Development. Holding a BS degree from Purdue University, an MA in Human Resources/Management from Webster University, and an Ed.D. in Leadership Education from Spalding University, Marilyn brings a strong educational foundation to her work.
With over 30 years of business experience, including 6 years exclusively in Human Resources, Dr. Faulkenburg's insights are deeply rooted in practical understanding. Her tenure as a professor at Sullivan University, particularly in the HR Master’s program, underscores her commitment to nurturing the next generation of HR professionals.
Beyond academia, Marilyn has made significant contributions to the industry. As the former Executive Director of Workforce/Economic Development and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg, she demonstrated her leadership prowess. Her executive-level roles at Target Stores and Caesars Indiana further showcase her ability to thrive in diverse environments.
Marilyn's dedication to personal growth and development is evident through her certifications and affiliations. As a certified facilitator for Emergenetics International, a John Maxwell trainer and coach, and with her SHRM-SCP certification, she ensures that she stays at the forefront of industry best practices.
With her multidimensional background, Dr. Marilyn Faulkenburg continues to inspire and shape the fields of education, Human Resources, and leadership.
Molly moved to Prospect in 2011 from the Detroit, MI area. Her years of experience working as a compliance manager led her to realize her attention to detail and organizational skills are best suited in the mortgage loan industry. Molly loves meeting new people and building both business and personal relationships.
She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1992 with a degree in Communication Disorders. She and her husband Mark have moved several times throughout their 30+ years of marriage. From Cincinnati to Cleveland to Detroit and finally to Louisville in 2011. She loves all that Louisville has to offer, from great restaurants to a great place to raise your family. Her kids, Maggie and Jack, both graduated from Ballard High School and the University of Cincinnati. Her daughter, Maggie, lives in Phoenix, AZ and son, Jack, lives in Cincinnati.

Michael Collins is a business owner with over two decades of experience. Since 2001, he has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence. As the co-owner of Redemption Solar and Roofing, Michael has been providing roofing solutions for his clients. Residing in Goshen, he takes pride in contributing to the local community. When not immersed in roofing-related projects, he enjoys attending church, reading books, spending time outdoors, and cheering on his two boys, Xander and Caleb, at their baseball games. I've been happily married to Karen for 21 years, and I'm proud of our sons' achievements, with Xander committed to play college baseball and Caleb following in his footsteps."

A dedicated senior living professional with over eight years of experience at Trilogy Health Services. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Sales at The Willows at Springhurst, where she has led with compassion and commitment for the past four years. Throughout her career, Taelor has held various roles across the Kentuckiana area with Trilogy, actively engaging in organizations that support seniors and their families.
A graduate of the University of Louisville but, a proud UK fan, Taelor brings both heart and leadership to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two young children, ages 1 and six. Taelor is passionate about serving the senior community and looks forward to bringing her insight, energy, and experience to the board.
Sharon Handy grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, in a real estate–obsessed family, so she knows the ins and outs of the city and the housing market. With a long career in design, marketing, and communications, she understands the art and science of promotion and analytics. A creative thinker, problem solver, project manager, experienced marketer—and sometimes therapist—Sharon’s high energy and personable style work hard for her clients’ goals.
